Improving Healthy Behaviors Program (IHBP) website Launched

The Improving Healthy Behaviors Program (IHBP), managed by FHI Development 360 (formerly AED), is a three-year technical assistance project, with two additional option years, designed to strengthen institutional capacity of government at the national, state, and district levels to design, deliver, and evaluate strategic communication programs focusing on behavior change.

 

A Patient-centered Approach to TB Control, The DANTB Experience

The overall objective of this Documentation was to assess the facilitation of DANTB in the growth of RNTCP and empowering it with several innovative approaches and skills. The concrete achievements during the project period are evident in the difference in crucial indicators relating to diagnosis, treatment, cure, default and death.

A health communication strategy for RNTCP

The Danish assistance to the Revised National Tuberculosis Control Programme in India, DANTB, was established in 1997. In addition to the financial and technical support to establishing the necessary infrastructure for RNTCP, the project made Orissa special compared to other states of India by the development of two specific components dedicated to work with TB-related information, education and communication (IEC) and health systems research (HSR) by DANTB.
