Training Programmes for Audit Professionals – an iCISA Initiative

In order to carry out their roles efficiently, Government officials need to continuously upgrade their knowledge and skills. These are done through training programmes.

The Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG) is an independent constitutional authority who heads the Supreme Audit Institution (SAI) of India. The C&AG is mandated to carry out audits in the public sector Audit and providing accounting services to improve the quality of the country’s governance.

In order to carry out their roles efficiently, Government officials need to continuously upgrade their knowledge and skills. These are done through training programmes for audit professionals from across the world conducted by the International Centre for Information Systems and Audit (iCISA). These include professional training to officers of the Indian Audit and Accounts Department and managers from organisations like IAS, IFS, Armed Forces etc.
