CCRAS website

The Central Council for Research in Ayurveda & Siddha (CCRAS), is an apex body for the formulation, coordination and development of research in Ayurveda & Siddha on scientific lines. The Council has been executing its research programme with a network of 86 research projects (about 30 major institutes/centres and 56 small units) with the headquarters office responsible for control, monitoring and supervision. The CCRAS has now been re-organised in 40 institutes/centres.

The research programmes under this Council are broadly categorised into Clinical Research including Health Care Research, Drug Research including Survey and Cultivation, Drug Standardisation, Pharmacological & Toxicological Studies, Literary Research alongwith Documentation & Publication and Family Welfare Research both clinical and experimental.

CCRAS assigned to New Concept the task of reviewing the website from the perspective of modern website design and a re-design according to modern standards. The viewers of the website include researchers, private companies, other government agencies, doctors and lay people. The new website in English and Hindi has been re-structured incorporating easy navigation features, and re-designed using CSS and modern design concepts, with web-enabled fonts for easy download with contemporary look and feel. The search engine has been strengthened using popular search and web-positioning tools and Google analytics.
